Jozwiak law was founded by Steven J. Jozwiak. Mr. Jozwiak has been a tax attorney since 1984. He is licensed in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York. Born in 1957, Mr. Jozwiak graduated from Rutgers College in 1979 and Delaware Law School in 1982. He obtained an LLM in taxation from New York University School of Law in 1987.

In addition to his law practice, Mr. Jozwiak has worked as a Certified Public Accountant with a national accounting firm, and as a college instructor in Tax Accounting at Glassboro State College, now Rowan University.

Mr. Jozwiak has experience in all procedural areas of federal and state tax law, which include handling tax audits, IRS appeals, abatement of tax penalties, offers in compromise, payment plans, IRS liens, IRS levies and property seizures, wage garnishment, innocent spouse relief, bankruptcy, criminal investigations and tax evasion, abusive tax shelter schemes, etc. Additionally, he has been involved in more than 100 cases before the US Tax Court, as well as cases before the US District Court and Third Circuit Court of Appeals.

In addition to tax litigation, Jozwiak Law also represents clients on many other matters such as bankruptcy, business, valuation analysis, real estate and general civil law.
